As the newest member of the Roland & Candace team, Alex has a far-reaching understanding of the Los Angeles landscape, from the high mountain trails of Coldwater Canyon to the energetic streets of Downtown L.A. Prior to joining the team, Alex worked as a pediatric critical care nurse at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, where genuine care and empathy were of the utmost importance and primed him for his career in real estate.
Alex's most recent role as a nurse case manager involved coordinating the care of cardiac patients in the hospital and preparing for discharging home, as well as facilitating insurance authorizations for therapies and treatments. Becoming familiar with contracts and handling dynamic situations, all with the end goal of a smooth and safe transition from hospital to home, was great preparation for real estate.
"One of my biggest strengths is that I am an attentive listener. My job is not to tell a client what they want but to stop and truly listen to how they can achieve the best version of what they want. I don't take being someone's 'expert resource' lightly, for where someone chooses to live and what they choose to live in can be hugely defining."
The experience gained in protecting his patients' interests now translates into protecting his clients' best interests. From those initial conversations to that last signature, Alex is there to help guide his clients through the process of buying and selling and to make a positive impact on their lives.
Throughout his eight years spent at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, tending to the most critically ill cardiac babies, Alex witnessed the highs and lows of human emotions, and certainly understands life's most important events. He looks forward to a long career as a realtor- learning from two of L.A.'s brightest mentors- where his focus will be on Pasadena and the surrounding areas.
