Education
Alicia grew up in California, moving to Lawrence, KS in 2006 to attend the University of Kansas. After graduating, she moved to the Kansas City area and fell in love with the tight knit community and made KC her home. After spending much of her 20s in the service industry as a server and bartender, Alicia made the leap into healthcare as a Respiratory Therapist. She met her husband at Children’s Mercy Hospital, where they both worked as RT’s in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. They traveled the country throughout the pandemic, as travel healthcare workers, and ultimately decided to settle down in KC near their families.
Alicia discovered that she could combine her passion for helping people and caring for others with her passion for real estate and became a licensed real estate agent in Kansas and Missouri, and hasn’t looked back since. Alicia and her husband live in Waldo with their two dogs and they love taking walks through their neighborhood admiring the beautiful architecture of quintessential Waldo.
