About Andrew
A native of California and Silicon Valley, Andrew was born in San Jose and grew up in the sleepy suburb of Campbell. His formative years were made up of extreme sports and high academic achievement. He was a skateboarder in the 1970s when the sport was emerging and took up surfing as an organic progression of his enthusiasm for “going big”. Passionately pursuing perfect surf, he spent time in Hawaii, Mexico and the Pacific West Coast from San Diego up to Oregon and Washington.
After high school Andrew pursued an engineering degree and dove headfirst into the growing Silicon Valley world of Semiconductors. In this career, he learned many of the traits that enable his success today in real estate: integrity, commitment, problem-solving, innovation, and dedication. These are some of the things he brings to his clients' experiences. Above all his mission is to be transparent and authentic. There are no masks. Andrew is always Andrew when he shows up.
During his time in semiconductors, Andrew learned how to manage people and processes, how to manage a department and a business unit financially, how to recruit, hire and unfortunately, how to let people go. He managed large corporate scale projects and was recognized a number of times for critical contributions to revenue and growth achievements. All of these experiences help him achieve stellar results for his clients.
Entering the real estate world just a few short years before the housing and economic crash that began in 2008, Andrew quickly adapted his young business and became a sought after resource to assist homeowners with distressed home sales. He developed a network of professionals in real estate law, family law, bankruptcy, financial planners and investment advisors that enabled his clients to limit personal damage associated with the difficult decisions they faced. Andrew maintains this network today and as a result does many transactions related to trust sales, divorce sales, and other financially required asset dispositions. He took the Series 65 Investment Advisors Law examination, not to become a financial advisor, but to be able to speak the same language and understand the concerns of his client’s advisors.
Andrew has always been a lover of science fiction, especially the post-WWII Sci-Fi movie genre associated with radiation anomalies, space travel, and aliens. He is also an amateur writer and has written several short stories and, of course, is working on a novel. His early love of science fiction drew his attention to the stars and he is an amateur astronomer and astrophotographer. Coming full circle, he is now bringing surfing back into his life. His adult daughter is learning how to surf and it inspired him to take the journey with her.
Andrew's clients know the experience they have is unique. You will not find a more committed, dedicated and capable individual to help with your real estate needs. No drama, just transparency, honesty and incredible problem-solving skills. It’s something you need to experience to understand.
