Andrew Black is a multi-family investment specialist located in the Compass Commercial office in San Francisco. Mr. Black received his B.S. in Economics and played football as a walk-on at the prestigious University of California, Berkeley. He credits his strong work ethic and determination from the long hours spent in the weight room, film room, on the field, and off the field juggling the rigor of a student-athlete at Cal Berkeley.
Andrew has been involved in several different aspects of commercial real estate. Originally from Spokane, WA, he was born into a family with deep roots in the real estate world. At a young age, he was exposed to the property management, brokerage, and development side of the business. Upon graduating college in 2017, he traveled the world for six months before he settled down to work at Marcus & Millichap for two years. In his first full year in the business, he achieved the national pacesetter award and “Rookie of the Year” in the San Francisco Office. He now has made the transition to Compass Commercial, focusing on the exclusive representation of buyers and sellers of multi-family investments in Alameda County.
Mr. Black currently resides in the Marina district of San Francisco and enjoys triathlon training, snow skiing, boating, traveling and golfing in his free time.
