About Ashley

Ashley is a member of the KKB team, thrilled to be working alongside Kate Bates, one of Fairfield County’s top agents with over fifteen years of experience. Since earning her license, Ashley has loved helping her clients win competitive bid situations to secure their dream homes, as well as market and sell their homes quickly, smoothly, and for the highest price. She recognizes the importance of strong relationships and is very hands on when it comes to guiding her clients through each transaction, even managing home renovation projects. She also prioritizes communication – with clients, with lawyers, with appraisers – to ensure that the process is as seamless and stress-free as possible.

Ashley is a veteran of the education sector, having spent eleven years guiding families on the arduous college application journey, whether that meant writing materials for test preparation, providing essay editing, finding financial support programs, or counseling families on school selection. This experience of identifying highly individualized needs and building long-term relationships with families gave Ashley the perfect background for a career in real estate because she loves helping people find their perfect fit.

Hailing from Highland Park in Dallas, Ashley graduated from Princeton University in 2006, where she was the elected student representative for the English Department. She then spent a year at The University of St. Andrews in Scotland, earning an M. Litt degree through a Ransome Fellowship. After completing her thesis, she spent seven years in New York City before moving to Fairfield County in 2014 with her husband and daughter. Since settling in Darien, she and her husband have welcomed two sons.

Over the past eight years, Ashley has always been actively involved within the town, from volunteering to help with OPUS events in support of Person-to-Person, to co-Chairing the St. Luke’s Parish School annual benefit gala. You may even have seen her emceeing the annual Kids’ Fun Run at Highland Farm, or coaching 6th graders for the Darien Junior Field Hockey program. Her three children always partake in the cherished local events such as the Memorial Day Parade and Weed Beach festival, and were eager participants in the Darien Nature Center’s outdoor programsthe muddier, the better!

She is also an avid runner and participates in multiple half-marathons throughout the state every year. This means that she has run on virtually every street in town while training and has become a true neighborhood expert along the way.

Ashley feels lucky to live in this special community and would love to help you buy, sell, or rent here.
