I got my B.A. from UC Berkeley, in English literature. I spent two years doing graduate work on a teaching fellowship at SUNY at Buffalo, then moved back to the bay area for good. For about six years, I made my living here as a potter, making hand crafted stoneware that I sold at craft fairs and craft stores. After that, I was a spec builder, developer and investor in real estate. I have been a real estate agent in Marin since 2003.
I genuinely enjoy being an agent. I enjoy having new people come into my life in an immediately intense relationship on a regular basis. I enjoy figuring out who they are, and communicating to them who I am. I enjoy learning each new client’s unique needs, and then working to meet them. I’ve learned that those needs are not immediately apparent, sometimes even to my clients themselves, that they may develop and change over time, so I have to be always alert, attuned, and flexible. At the end of a successful purchase or sale, I enjoy sharing the celebration of a truly important event in my clients lives.
