Buyer's Agent, Listing Agent, Relocation, Property Management
University of South Alabama
In 2010, Joe switched into a career in real estate and little did he know it became something he absolutely loved doing. Before relocating to Boston, Joe earned his BS in Secondary Education from the University of South Alabama and completed graduate work in Instructional Design and Development while he was working as a middle school teacher.
When Joe landed in Boston he was hired by a company which has a history of hiring former teachers because of their training and teaching skills. Joe worked his way up the management ladder and helped open stores in Hingham, St Louis, Toronto, California, Burlington, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
He was also the Boston and Connecticut area trainer for purchase of sales systems. With a background in home decor and furnishings, Joe has a unique eye and vision to help clients with visualizing spaces. Whether it's staging, renovating or deciding how clients will fit their existing furniture into a new space. His previous careers have focused around helping others, and listening to their needs and wants. This has proved to be a great asset to his clients as a real estate agent.
He prides himself on being honest, trustworthy and ensuring client satisfaction. Working with new clients moving to Boston is among Joe's favorite things. Coming from Alabama; perhaps one of the most opposite parts of the United States, he understands the anxiety and general overwhelming feelings associated with moving to a new city.
When Joe first moved to Boston in 2003 he landed in Jamaica Plain. Although he has lived in other neighborhoods in Boston, he found that Jamaica Pain was the most diverse neighborhood in Boston. This area is surrounded by green space, so it quickly became his home away from home while transitioning to city life. He still finds it a remarkable place to call home.
