I began my life's career in music. Right out of high school, I started singing professionally. Jazz is my passion. Singing, playing, listening, Jazz is my passion. Music took me in many different directions to great experiences with new people and the chance to interact and learn from great musicians, the most important being Fred Crane. I was privileged to work with many musicians, some famous, some known, but not famous. Still, everyone a treasure.
I spent years in many different places, interesting places. Singing, playing in Miami, New Orleans, Dallas, New York and yes, even Paris. I didn't think about it then, but it turns out those cities are powerful real estate markets
On my way to a real estate career, I made a few stops, working in a florist shop, a healthy vacation resort in Maine, where I led walks, then on to managing a clothing shop on Chicago's North Shore for 7 years. Meeting customers and developing friends daily, it was all about serving people and provided a perfect segue to real estate. My son called and said, "move to Boston!" He was interested in real estate, too! I took the course, license in hand, I spoke to a good friend of mine, a sculptor, in Brookline. She suggested I interview with Chobee Hoy, because "Chobee supports all things artistic and beyond" in the community.
