About Brian
A text banner for Siebel Homes.
I started my real estate business in October 2013 after a difference-making career as a Washington, D.C. public interest lawyer. For 13 years, I worked for the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, fighting to reduce the scourge of gun violence on a national level. I also worked for organizations to protect voting rights and advocate around federal judgeships and issues before the U.S. Supreme Court.

I bring the same commitment and tenacity to helping clients buy or sell homes that I did when I battled the gun industry in court. My legal background is an invaluable resource for my real estate clients.

I have received numerous honors as my business has grown. I was recognized Washingtonian Magazine as a Top Producer in only my third year, and I have continued to receive that honor each year since. I have also been recognized as a Top Producer Arlington Magazine, and Zillow has awarded me Best in Customer Service, Master of Client Happiness, and Best of Zillow.

One of my greatest strengths is my responsiveness and communication skills. I put my clients’ interests first, always working to achieve the best results for them. I think strategically when it comes to writing contracts and negotiating the best deal for home sellers. When you hire me as your realtor, you know you have a strong and skilled advocate on your side.

After five strong years at McEnearney, I joined in March 2019 so my clients could take advantage of the many benefits offers to home buyers and sellers. I have recently formed a team with Emerald Taylor, Lauren Lovallo and Alison Diminuco to better serve our clients.

In addition to providing my own expertise, I have excellent connections with a wide range of industry professionals I enlist to help clients buy and sell homes, including lenders, title companies, home inspectors, , stagers, and others.

I grew up in the Midwest, lived 10 years in Washington State, then came to Washington, D.C. in 1986. I met my wife Linda at American University, Washington College of Law, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1990. We have two adopted children.

As a Realtor®, my greatest joy is helping people make the same life transitions that I have experienced.

"Brian Siebel found us the house that we thought was impossible to find! We were impressed from the get-go with the comprehensive list of requirements that he had prepared for us to complete. His subsequent streamlined research proved to be highly productive with us finding our home in less than two weeks! His due diligence made the process seamless and productive." - Tenzin and Tashi

"We’ve worked with no one more diligent than Brian Siebel. We can’t imagine any realtor outworking him or giving more of himself to his clients. As first time homebuyers, we lacked experience, knowledge, and – at times – confidence. Throughout the process, though, we knew that we could always count on Brian to be there to guide and support us. That, for us, was priceless." - Andy and Kate

★★★★★
"I really appreciated working with Brian. He was really patient working with us over the past year (we found him on Zillow last summer) as our home search criteria evolved during that time. He was able to help us both sell our previous home and buy our current home all within the same month! It was a tight turn, but he helped guide us through to a successful completion. He was a good, steady influence throughout the process that could otherwise have gotten chaotic. Thank you again Brian." - Bill

"My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Brian to purchase our first home. Brian was incredibly patient with us as we continued to explore northern Virginia and adjust to the realities of buying a home in a very competitive market. No matter how busy he was, we always felt like his number one client. When it was time to put in an offer, he very clearly walked us through the process so that we understood everything – it was truly a great learning experience. You will not find a more attentive agent – more than six months after closing, my wife texted Brian with a question and he responded same day. That truly sums up our experience with Brian. I can’t recommend him enough." - Don

"Brian negotiated a at a price higher than our expectations for our house in "as is" condition. Because we moved out of state as soon as the house , he also took care of arranging for cleaning and necessary repairs and yard work, thus saving us a tremendous amount of long-distance dealing with . We recommend him as an agent without reservation." - Linda

"Dealing with Brian was an absolute pleasure. I met him at an open house. He listened to my requirements and started sending me listings. After a few, he found me the perfect condo. On my behalf, he drove a hard bargain and I got the place for $50,000 below asking and $66,000 below the county appraisal. He then my house. Selling is always a nerve wracking experience. Nonetheless, he provided me with lists of reliable repair people. He even cleaned up my basement for me. In the end, he drove another hard bargain and my house for $32,000 more than listing. I could not be more pleased." - Jim

"I highly recommend those interested in buying/selling a home in Northern Virginia to use Brian Siebel. After years of renting apartments in the DC and Virginia area my wife and I decided we were ready to purchase our first home. We were recommended to use Brian from our mortgage and it turned out great. As first time homebuyers we were very unsure of the process. Brian was extremely patient with us and took the time to explain everything we needed to know. Further, Brian showed us several homes for and provided honest feedback. We never felt pressured Brian to make a decision; rather he suggested we take the time we need to make our decision. When it was time to make an offer Brian was very prepared and worked with us to structure an offer for our new home. I highly recommend Brian and look forward to working with him in the future." - Andrew and Jane
