Carmela grew up listening to real estate transactions taking shape around her family’s kitchen table. As an adult, Carmela continued her interest in real estate, buying and selling several homes including many that were recently constructed or required major renovation. Real estate was a natural career move for Carmela. Her first career in banking and wealth management involved identifying clients’ needs, problem-solving and helping clients to achieve their financial goals. As a real estate professional, Carmela uses these skills to guide her buyers and sellers to successfully achieve personal lifestyle goals by helping them purchase or sell a home.
Carmela radiates optimism, and her confident energy inspires trust in her clients. She is a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, is well-organized, and tenacious. Carmela knows it takes hard work and diligence to get a transaction from offer through closing.
A native of Toronto, Canada, Carmela lived in Grosse Pointe, Michigan before her move to Houston. In Grosse Pointe, she owned The Pointe Pedlar, a popular kitchen store. Her community activities include working on fundraisers for her children’s schools and Literacy Volunteers of America. Carmela is a member of The Houstonian Club. When not working, she enjoys yoga classes, cycling, walking, tennis, and skiing. Carmela is also a foodie who enjoys cooking and discovering the ever-growing number of new restaurants that Houston has to offer. When her schedule allows, she can be found traveling through Europe, Canada, and the United States.
