"Charlie was an amazing realtor. First time purchasing a home was a stressful tedious process but working with Charlie has made it beyond easier the whole way. His open communication and top responsiveness put me at ease. Charlie was beyond honest throughout the process. Faithfully every weekend we looked at approximately 5 homes and if one may have accepted an offer Charlie took it upon his own to find something just as good that my husband and I may like. We were able to find our dream home within 1month which was beyond amazing as we are having our first child on the way. I will be recommending Charlie to whomever is looking to sell or purchase a home."

"Charlie was a huge asset to us in the entire home buying experience from beginning to end. We gained a ton of knowledge from his expertise both in regards to the process and also with his familiarity of the different neighborhoods we were looking in in Fairfield County. Charlie was always super responsive and patient with us in regards to any questions or troubles we had and was never hesitant to give us an honest assessment of a property or a thought process we had regardless of whether or not it conflicted with ours. I would definitely recommend Charlie to anyone I know who would be undergoing the same experience."

★★★★★
"Charlie did a great job guiding us to the right homes and giving us all the info we needed to make a smart decision. He was very available during the whole process and we highly recommend Charlie."

"Charlie has never led us wrong! We met him at an open house a year ago, he made a great impression. Fast forward a year and I pulled out his card and we started the process. He is PATIENT, We looked at countless houses- and he never complained. We never felt like he was pushing anything on us and he always said “I’ll support whatever decision you make”, even when we almost made a crazy one. Charlie's advise on the offering was so accurate and his negotiation skills are impeccable. Everything he recommended worked even when I thought it might not. He knows this business and works incredibly hard. We found a house we’ve always dreamed of- he helped us every step of the way and even better, he sold our house in under 4 weeks. I never realized how important a real estate agent is or how much work behind the scenes they do. I have a new respect for the profession— all because we worked with the ultimate professional!"

About Charlie
Prior to my life as a Realtor, I owned a remodeling business that covered lower Fairfield County. It was humble work. I enjoyed bringing my client's dreams to life, but the long hours swinging a hammer weren't my cup of tea. Still, I plugged away because I was good at it. My clients loved me and I never had the usual contractor issues.

We all remember that day in 2008. The day that Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy. It set off the “Great Recession” and my remodeling company would go with it. Overnight the phone stopped ringing. There was simply no work to be had. Within days my pregnant wife lost her job too. To say I was scared would be an understatement.

Not sure what to do, I went back to school and studied economics. My wife, Katie and I took odd jobs to make ends meet. We struggled, but I have fond memories of those days. We made due with the little that we had. I was getting a new lease on my career. I had something to look forward to.

After graduation, I was having a hard time finding a new career path. That’s when Katie said to me “When are you going to listen to me and get your real estate license?” I love real estate, but wasn’t sure I was cut out for it. I decided to call all of the people closest to me and ask what they thought. To my surprise, every single person thought I would make a great Realtor, and promptly followed up with a real estate agent horror story. With their confidence as my fuel, I marched my way into the industry with my head up.

The road would be harder than I expected. In my first year I would do nearly 100 open houses and still couldn’t pay the bills. But in the following years I would gain success in Greenwich, Westport and other premium areas.

Stuck inside for the COVID-19 lockdown, I figured the best way to “talk” to people was to start making YouTube videos. Hundreds of open houses had taught me that the clients who appreciated me most were the ones who were from out of town. Often they came from New York, but sometimes they were in town from California, New Jersey, DC, Florida and several other states.

It turns out that nearly thirteen years of driving around, doing estimates, gave me a very good understanding of the real estate in Lower Fairfield County. Something that buyers relocating to the area desperately need. They are looking for help finding the place where they best fit in, and understanding the nuances of the local markets. I am sure the construction knowledge didn’t hurt either.

Expressed gratitude goes out to my support team. They are the key reason we received Homesnap's “Top 5% of Realtors in the US” Award, I was one of a few agents out of a million to get it.

I would love to hear from you if it’s time to start talking to an agent, but if not, sign up for my website and access our buyer resources. Not a week goes by without getting expressions of gratitude from the people they have helped. I am sure they will help you too.
