About Christine
Christine Akins is an accomplished residential and commercial real estate investment professional with more than 30 years of experience in acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, equity raising, asset valuation, debt placement and international capital raising. In addition, Christine is an interior design professional and co-founder of Style Maui, a property styling and consulting partnership.

Previously, as Senior Managing Director at CBRE, she led the multifamily investment sales practice of 175 professionals in the Americas and was responsible for commanding the growth of CBRE’s market-leading position, including business development, client coverage, and various corporate growth initiatives within Capital Markets. While at LaSalle Investment Management, she held the position of managing director responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring and closing multifamily acquisitions totaling over $3 billion of assets. Additionally, she held the role of fund investment officer for LaSalle Property Fund where she assisted in raising $1.7 billion in equity for the launch of the firm’s flagship open-ended core fund. Prior to LaSalle, at Equity Residential, she was responsible for monetizing over $2 billion of multifamily product in a variety of markets across the U.S.

Christine is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago, attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, holds an active real estate sales license in the State of Hawaii and is an active participant in several real estate and design industry organizations including Urban Land Institute and IIDA.
