For more than 10 years, Ellie has served her real estate clients primarily in the luxury market, using innovative marketing tools, creative videos and property-specific websites to showcase her listings. She is incredibly enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about helping her buyers to find their dream home and creating unique marketing plans for the homes she sells. Many of her listings have been showcased by media outlets such as the Washington Post, Baltimore Sun, and several online platforms. Ellie has been featured in several articles about social media and the use of video in marketing homes.
She is thrilled to be among the agents at Compass who collaborate, share and support one another. Ellie is always happy to be a resource to anyone needing info on neighborhoods, contractors, restaurant recommendations or support of any kind.
Raised in Oklahoma City, Ellie headed east to Chapel Hill and was graduated in 1990. Right away, she moved to the DC metro area, immediately fell in love with the area, and shortly thereafter fell in love with her husband, John, a DC native. They are the parents of two bright college students and are now empty nesters. They work in the local community and walk their Jack Russell terrier, Salty, together each morning in their beloved Kenwood neighborhood. When not at work, Ellie and John enjoy travel for both work and play, and being a part of the DC metro area's vibrant community.
