Joe was born in Washington, DC and is a lifelong resident of D.C. Maryland and Virginia. He retired from over 20 years as a Legislative Counsel and Government Relations professional in order to pursue his passionate interest in a career in real estate. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona, is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and is a member of the MD, DC and Florida bars.
Joe is an expert horseman, with over 40 years experience training horses for the show ring, foxhunting, racing and polo. Previously the highest rated semi-pro polo player in the US for over 10 years, Joe has won countless tournaments throughout the United States and has represented the U.S. in competitions all over the world. In his youth, Joe founded the first polo school in the country. Joe is President and owner of Potomac Polo and its facilities in Maryland, a venue for equestrian, athletic and charitable events.
Joseph is passionately involved in several charitable organizations including Family House, the Center for Therapeutic Riding, Care Code, and Help Freddie Walk. When not helping clients with their real estate interests and legal needs, Joe enjoys traveling, all outdoor sports including skiing, tennis and golf, and especially spending time with his teammate and wife Ashley, who is also in real estate.
