The Taylor Agostino Group (TAG) has a long history in the Washington, DC metro area, providing personalized services for thousands of clients in our real estate market. For nearly 50 years, sellers and buyers alike have been working with this family-based business, which was started by Nancy Taylor in the 1960s. Nancy was joined by her husband, Keene Taylor, and together they grew Taylor Real Estate into a thriving locally-focused independent brokerage firm. In 1989, their son, Keene Taylor Jr, left his technology consulting career to support the expanding operation. As the company grew, they were joined in 1991 by Steve Agostino, who brought a background in urban planning and development to the team. (Steve became part of the family, too, by later marrying Keene and Nancy’s youngest daughter.)
Keene and Steve became business partners, as well as brothers-in-law, in late 1995, when they bought out Nancy and Keene to become the owners of TRE, Inc. After tremendous growth during the late 1990s and early 2000s, Keene and Steve decided to sell the sales operation, so TRE joined the Long and Foster Real Estate family of companies, providing clients with an even broader range of services and support. At that point, Keene and Steve formed a powerful sales team with their parents/in-laws, working together with them until Keene Sr.'s death in 2008. Since then, they have continued to serve clients as the Taylor Agostino Group.
TAG has since become one of the area’s most experienced teams. Combining neighborhood expertise and a strong commitment to ethics and honesty has resulted in tremendous success for their clients.
