George is the Principal broker of Compass' Midtown Nashville office, and the Senior Sales Manager of the brokerage's Tennessee region. He helped launched Compass Tennessee as the company's first Sales Manager. He’s served on the board of directors of Greater Nashville REALTORS® and Tennessee REALTORS®; served as the the chair of the local association’s Legislative Committee, and on the state’s Legislative Committee. George has been recognized by the real estate industry as a top producer, offering real estate counsel to everyone from first-time home buyers to investors to luxury sales.
He is on the board of Nashville Cares. His charitable endeavors include work with Habitat for Humanity, Safe Haven Family Shelter, and the Monroe Carell Children’s Hospital.
Prior to his real estate career, George was a solo recording artist in the music industry. He had a record deal on Michael W. Smith's "Rocketown Records;" a song-writing/publishing deal with BMG, Sony, Universal, and Capitol; and was represented by the William Morris Agency. Multi-Grammy award producer David Foster has even recorded/produced some of George’s music.
George holds a J.D. from Pepperdine School of Law, with experience in real estate law; tax and estate planning; land use, zoning, and development; municipal law; and contract-drafting...all of which serve him well as he currently serves on the Tennessee Residential Forms Committee.
You will often see George around town enjoying his hobbies of photography, kayaking, running, and performing with the Nashville Symphony.
