Rachel has been serving the Darien, New Canaan, Greenwich and lower Fairfield County marketplace for 24 years. Her goal is to help people find the perfect place to call home, wherever that may be. Rachel’s passion for real estate and client satisfaction fueled her success. She is an author and is currently writing a book about real estate to help new real estate agents succeed. She has also been interviewed and published in many newspapers, online news sources, and magazines.
Rachel has shared her real estate expertise as a contributor for The Wall Street Journal, The Darien Times, The New Canaan Advertiser, DailyVoice.com, CT Cottages & Gardens and The New York Times. She takes pride in her achievements, however, at the end of the day, the real success is in the trust and relationships she has built with her clients.
Rachel has always lived in the Tri-State area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. She grew up in Upper Montclair, New Jersey, and lived in beautiful southern New Jersey between the bay and the ocean. She has lived in Manhattan's Midtown and Upper West Side, and on the beautiful coastline of Westchester County, New York. She has spent the last 30 years in Darien and New Canaan, Connecticut.
Rachel has three children who grew up in Darien and New Canaan, attended both school systems, ultimately graduating from New Canaan High School then graduating from Connecticut College with a Master's Degree from Chapman University, Lehigh University, and Loyola University, Maryland. Her children now have compelling careers in TV, Marketing and Finance and now live all around the world including Los Angeles, New York City, and New Zealand.
Rachel lives in an antique home but loves new construction and mid-century modern homes. She is very house-wise and knows a lot about structure, maintenance, design, renovations, staging, organization and more. She loves to read, write, walk her dog, go to the local beaches and parks, and travel. She went to school for English and Journalism and has an advanced degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Rachel has been in the hospitality and service industry for over 30 years and has worked in management and VIP Services at two luxury Central Park South hotels in New York City. Hospitality and service are ingrained in her and is something she doesn't take lightly.
