"Gretchen was recommended to me by a friend in the area and I'm SO glad we had her by our side for a very complicated home buying process. From the very beginning, Gretchen's tenacity shown through: she went under houses to inspect creepy crawl spaces, met with us at newly listed houses on a moments notice, and was always super positive even in the most challenging of circumstances.

We're first time home buyers and had absolutely no clue how the market worked. It was intimidating, but we knew we could lean on Gretchen's extensive knowledge and expertise in the Easy Bay. When the house we bid on presented a crazy situation (the buyer's ex-husband...who is in prison... needed to sign the title and notarize it), Gretchen worked to make that happen. Additionally, when my parent's offered to help us with some of the costs, Gretchen handled my really tough and opinionated dad from NYC.

I would work with Gretchen again in a heartbeat and recommend her to anyone looking to get into this crazy real estate market.

"Gretchen is amazing to work with - we looked at many many houses and she was always patient with us and gave great guidance and insight about not only the house but the neighborhood and schools, etc. after the purchase she continues to check in and make sure we are set up and have all that we need." - Bud l.

"I cannot recommend Gretchen highly enough! Gretchen helped us find our first home in the Bay Area - a place we loved! When we outgrew that space, she found us an amazing deal on a property in the exact neighborhood we wanted to be in. Then, she helped us sell our first home at a significant profit.

A few things about Gretchen:

No one works harder than Gretchen. She really hustles to find you opportunities. Even though we were far from it, we always felt like her only client and first priority. She is always a phone call or a text away and was in constant touch with us throughout our various processes.

She has great instincts for timing and tracks the real estate market very closely.

She really listens to what you want, internalizes it, and helps you find your dream home.

She understand how crazy the Bay Area market can feel and provides realistic guidance but never pressures you.

Once you buy a home, Gretchen becomes an amazing resource for how to increase your home value and has helped us troubleshoot a number of issues. She has a great list of contractors and others that she works with regularly that we have also used and loved. We call her our "house doula" because she's our first call with any questions or issues.

Gretchen is an absolute pro and we would work with her again in an instant (if we weren't so happy in our current home :) ).

"We first met Gretchen as a friend of a friend. So when we started looking for houses in the East Bay, we immediately thought of her. We knew we wanted to work with Gretchen because she is friendly and smart, but as we learned over the couple of months we spent searching for a house, she is also a damn sharp real estate agent.

One of the things we value most about Gretchen is her advice. As she got to know us, she found out what we were looking for and advised us on houses we might like, just coming onto the market; what we could expect from the home-buying process as first time homeowners; and possible problems with houses that we should avoid.

Gretchen is very accessible: she picks up her phone, answered our texts and emails quickly and efficiently. We thought we might be bothering her too much sometimes with loads of questions, but she was so patient and let us know that it's basically her responsibility to be reachable and responsive. She went to visit every house we were serious about and reviewed the disclosures, helping us to interpret the many pages. She also let us know how much to expect to pay in order to win a bid. With Gretchen's help, we went from total home buying newbies to actually having a clue!

Our first offer for a solid house in an amazing neighborhood was accepted. Thank you, Gretchen!

"Gretchen made our real estate dreams come true! She is someone you can put your trust and faith in. Her knowledge of the East Bay real estate market is unparalleled. She consistently provided sound guidance and honest input. Even at 8.5 months pregnant, she was the most responsive, reliable, and capable agent! We had the best possible experience buying our home, all thanks to Gretchen." - Jacki C..
