Hayat Mohamed

Hayat joined Compass as an agent in November 2023, but her first introduction to the industry was in 2021, when she purchased her first income property in Jersey City – simultaneously becoming a homeowner and landlord. The past two years did not come without its challenges and emergencies, but she wouldn’t trade the opportunity for anything. 

 These days, homeownership can seem completely out of reach for individuals, couples, and families across the country. Those fortunate enough to do so often find themselves overwhelmed and under-informed, making them susceptible to costly mistakes. Through her unique, first-hand experience, Hayat hopes to make the dream of owning a home accessible and manageable for her clients by educating and navigating them through the process, every step of the way.

 Her client-first mentality extends beyond the home buying experience. She is eager to assist clients with all of their real estate needs – whether it’s looking for the perfect apartment to rent, or an ideal tenant for your rental income property – she’s got you covered.

 Prior to becoming an agent, Hayat spent nearly 15 years in the media industry working in digital advertising and sales. When she’s not working, she enjoys indulging in trashy thriller books, listening to social and political podcasts, and watching stand-up comedy.
