Jack is a licensed real estate broker and began his real estate career in 1973.
His experience has covered the broad spectrum of real estate sales, leasing, property management, and rehabilitation. He is trained and adept with the varied marketing techniques required to sell the smallest homes or multimillion dollar mansions and condominiums from Pacific Heights, throughout the Berkeley Hills, and into East Oakland. Additionally, he is qualified in all aspects of commercial leasing and investment analysis and sales.
A Berkeley resident since 1968, Jack has a degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is married and the father of two adult sons.
Jack has been active in numerous community civic affairs, including youth soccer, scouting, and Berkeley Rotary. He was a member of the original steering committee for the Berkeley Schools Enrichment Project and has served in leadership positions for several committees for the Berkeley Board of Education, including the Surplus Facilities Committee and the Berkeley Schools Public Finance Corporation. He has served on the Endowment Board of Berkeley Rotary.
