After attending college on a wrestling scholarship at the Colorado School of Mines, Erik embarked on a journey that took him from Minnesota to Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska, and even the Caribbean. With a love for the water, Erik spent years working as a licensed boat captain and a SCUBA instructor. In 2009, he transitioned into the world of real estate and became a licensed REALTOR®. Since then, Erik has been helping individuals and families buy and sell properties on Hawaii Island, leveraging his extensive knowledge of the local market. Erik's dedication to his community is evident through his active involvement in the North Hawaii Rotary Club, where he has held various leadership positions. When he's not busy assisting clients, you can find Erik paddling an outrigger canoe with the Waikoloa Canoe Club, embracing the island's rich cultural heritage.
Romy, a California native, followed her passion for the ocean and made her way to Hawaii in 1993. With a bachelor's degree in English from UCLA, Romy's love for the written word complements her prowess in the real estate industry. Her journey led her to cross paths with Erik while working on America II, an America's Cup contender during the 1987 racing season. Romy's dedication to her craft is evident through her accomplishments in the real estate field. As a licensed REALTOR® in Hawaii, she has served two terms on the Board of Directors for the West Hawaii Association of REALTORS® (WHAR). Romy's commitment to professional development led her to graduate from the Hawaii Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy, positioning her as a leader in the industry.
