James honed his competitive attitude and steady nerves in stock car and truck racing, where he won the 2012 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Championship. Growing up with a builder father and realtor mother made real estate a natural next step. Today, James and his wife Kris are the founders of The Buescher Group at Compass, a modern, tech-savvy team devoted to valuing long-term client relationships over transactions.
James grew up in Plano and has lived in Houston for over a decade.
