Jen knows that whether you’re buying or selling your first or twenty-first property, the purchase or sale of a home can be one of the largest investments and best opportunities for profit. Purchasing the right property, or selling at the best price can have positive, long-reaching effects for her clients and their families. Jen’s goal is to empower her clients with the knowledge necessary to make decisions that will best serve their personal goals. She is invested in the successful outcome of each transaction.
Throughout the life of a transaction, Jen offers full-service support, and continues to be a resource after closing. There are many steps involved in closing a successful purchase or sale, and Jen is there at each step to anticipate potential disruptions and coordinate with all parties to reduce what can be a stressful time and ensure that the closing occurs as planned.
Continuing education and professionalism are key to Jen’s success. Her professional knowledge is a great asset for those she represents. Jen has many designations benefiting buyers, sellers, and investors, and has won many industry awards for her sales volume, and community involvement. Jen is most proud of the testimonials of her clients and the friendships and referral based business that is a result of her acting as client advocate.
Jen views real estate as a consulting job, and believes that the role of salesperson is only appropriate when representing her seller clients’ homes to potential buyers or other Realtors. She is patient and believes that if you’re old enough to buy a home, you don’t need a Realtor to tell you what to buy or pressure you while you’re making an important decision.
Prior to Real Estate, Jen worked as a Registered Nurse for 7 years. As a former ER nurse, Jen often says, “Real Estate isn’t life or death, it just feels like it!” Jen’s ability to stay calm under pressure and training to advocate on behalf of her clients has resulted in a tenacity and determination to achieve the best outcomes possible for her clients.
Most of Jen’s professional life has been built in and around the industry of real estate. From her passionate love of organic gardening and landscape architecture (her backyard is worth visiting!) to a long stint managing multi-million dollar construction budgets for luxury home builders, Jen knows that being a homeowner is still the great American dream, and she feels humbled by the opportunity she gets to be an advocate for her clients in this very important decision.
Utilizing every available tool for her client’s benefit, Jen has a lengthy list of fabulous local resources (she keeps a running rolodex of Austin’s best in her head!) and a cutting edge perspective on the future of technology in real estate.
Sustainability, for Jen, runs deeper than the roots in her garden. Her experience in creating a work culture of care, service, communication and innovation, allows her the great privilege of working by lead and referral. Her business continues to grow based on her extensive knowledge of Austin and the surrounding areas, her negotiating savvy, and her personal motto: Nothing disrupts the deal!
