About Kara
A Cape resident since she was four years old, Kara has served her local community as a realtor for more than 7 years. Her mother, Linda Guarino, is a 25-year veteran of the industry and initially served as Kara's mentor but now, works alongside her daughter as an equal partner.
"By watching my mother through the years, I learned a lot about how important it is to be available to your home buyers and sellers when they need you," said Kara, “I spent more time at the Registry of Deeds as a kid than I did at the playground!”
Beyond her early education at home, Kara is a former executive assistant to a Senior V.P. at Fidelity Investments in Boston. An accomplished singer, she also studied Voice Performance at the Boston Conservatory of Music and attended the Katherine Gibbs School for business. This diverse and accomplished background, has given her a keen insight into the negotiation strategies, investment opportunities and financial acumen she wields on behalf of her clients.
