Karen is a dedicated and hard-working licensed Florida Real Estate Agent with a passion for helping clients find their dream homes in sunny SWFL. Born and raised in Dearborn, MI, Karen has had a lifelong connection to SWFL, having frequented Marco Island since the late 80s. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Madonna University in Livonia, MI in 2004, Karen made the life-changing decision to permanently relocate to Marco Island, FL to embark on her professional journey.
Her early career saw her immersed in the vibrant social scene, working at local newspapers such as the Marco Eagle, The Bonita Banner and Naples Daily News, while also enjoying the social aspect of serving at establishments like Captain Brien's and Real Seafood Company in Naples. However, Karen's ambitions led her to follow her dreams of travel and entrepreneurship, which eventually brought her to Door County, WI, where she spent summers waiting tables while enjoying the beauty of the region.
In 2015, Karen's life took a new turn as she married on Sanibel Island and became a mother to three beautiful girls who now attend Gospel Baptist Christian School in Bonita Springs. In 2017, while pregnant with her third child, Karen decided to pursue a career in real estate, inspired by her grandmother and mother who were also real estate agents. Her dedication and passion quickly earned her the "Rising Star" Award in her first year, affirming her true calling in real estate. Since then Karen has achieved Silver, Gold and Diamond Awards.
Karen's love for connecting with people, combined with her deep knowledge of the numerous communities and neighborhoods in SWFL, makes her a perfect guide for both buyers and sellers.
