Kate has been a resident of Washington DC for over a decade, spending time in the Kalorama and Navy Yard neighborhoods before settling down in Petworth. Kate has fostered a life-long interest in art, architecture and history, having worked at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston before moving to DC. After moving south, Kate accepted a management position with a subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, where she spent much of her time working with clients on efforts to market historic destinations and properties.
Kate has an eye for detail, but she is most passionate about helping people find the right home for them. She has spent time in Washington DC as a single woman, a spouse and now as a mother of three small children. Her varied experiences in the city have given Kate a keen eye for locating the best neighborhoods and homes in the area for any client, no matter their priorities. Most importantly, Kate works to ensure that the experience of buying or selling a home is a positive one for her clients. Kate prides herself on always being available to her clients and prioritizing their comfort and happiness. Kate spends her “leisure” time volunteering on school boards, managing community events, working on various art projects and enjoying the company of her family.
