Katina is THE agent you need to work with!! As a first time homebuyer flying solo, Katina's warmth, authenticity, and genuine drive to find the right home for me was so encouraging in a market where all you hear is how competitive it is for buyers. If you are a first timer or someone who's just not had a good experience so far, come to Katina. Real estate buying doesn't have to be as scary as the news or social media makes it look. Getting that clarity into the process and understanding what's needed from you is already half of the battle. Your personal finance situation is that last half, but a good agent like Katina together with a good lender referral will guide you through it all. I made a free buyer's consultation appointment and went in thinking, "If I'm not ready financially, at least I'll be able to figure out what I need to do to be ready." Katina was immediately so welcoming, I could tell she listened to my worries and wishes with the intent of being a guide, and she gave me a referral list of lenders to get pre-approved. Once I got pre-approved, I went into total sprint mode and Katina was SO responsive about pivoting and anticipating the things I was looking for in a home and arranging tours. She was absolutely right in saying when you're searching for a home, you are hyperfixated on it and it's all you can think about, and she was with me every step of the way. Katina was always encouraging but genuine in never pushing me towards a more expensive option because my safety and investment security was the primary focus. We toured 2 places in one day, wrote an offer LATE into that evening and got a pre-approval letter from my lender, and had it accepted the next afternoon. Before we got news back on my offer, she was CONSTANTLY in contact with the seller's agent and giving me frequent updates throughout the day knowing how anxious I was. She negotiated a lower selling price after appraisal came back, continued to be SUPER responsive and a great communicator with both me and the seller, and was just so genuinely excited for me and every step we took throughout the process. On closing day, she came with me to the closing table, and brought the sweetest and most creative and personalised closing gifts for me. Katina has a design background and that really gives her the talent to take both your vision and the raw potential a space has, and match you together and inspire you on top of your own ideas. This is the value a GREAT agent can bring you. We went from tour and offer acceptance to closing table within a month. There is so much to navigate, a real estate sale is a legal transfer of property and way more complex than just buying a car, and having a good agent who can help you put together a solid team with title company and lender is something that is just invaluable. I didn't know what to expect at each turn, but I always felt secure and looked after every step of the way. Katina said day 1, she wanted to give me and all her clients the positive and cared for experience she wishes she had when she was buying her first home, and she completely delivers and more. I know Katina is my go-to for any future real estate moves I do, and I've been recommending her to my other friends who are also thinking about making that first property move.
