Kristina was born and raised in Colorado, and she started riding horses at the age of four. She attended boarding school in Middleburg, Virginia, where she continued to grow her passion for sports and horses alike. After high school, Kristina pursued her undergraduate degree in Sociology and Political Science at Chapman University in Orange, California. Upon returning to Colorado, she attended the University of Denver to graduate with a master's degree in Forensic Psychology.
Kristina has been a fixture in the Colorado horse community, having served on the CHJA Board of Directors for several years. She continues to show her horse, Neolisto Van Het Mierenhof, winning multiple zones, regional, and state championships in the AA Jumper ring and rides with renowned Grand Prix rider, John McConnell.
Kristina is the founder of The Hacked Horse Colorado, a media platform dedicated to the Colorado equestrian community. She was the 2017 Colorado Sportswoman of the Year and is a dedicated Realtor® with Compass.
