Amanda has been following her passions all her life. Growing up in the heart of the American Riviera,
Santa Barbara, she began her entrepreneurial career selling hand-crafted ceramic houses to her
neighbors, with one pink dreamhouse being a particular hit. She moved to Los Angeles for higher
education and after graduating with a B.A in Business, she inevitably ended up staying in LA, the place
she loves to call home.
Her years after college were spent in the entertainment world, working in public relations, talent agencies including the William Morris Agency, and later going out on her own to write screenplays. All of which have built an impressive network of contacts and an invaluable insight into marketing, negotiations, and business development.
It was after completely renovating her house with her husband, managing the construction, overseeing the design and dealing with all the intricacies of a full home renovation and add-on, she made the switch to residential real estate working with Ari Afshar & Associates, one of the top producing teams at Compass in Beverly Hills.
Having lived in many different areas of Los Angeles over the past twenty years, Amanda has acquired a unique perspective on this amazing city. She is committed to making everything in life include an element of fun and she believes with the right combination work and play, everyone can enjoy the journey to buying, selling or investing in their next big pink dreamhouse.
Amanda is on the 2019 board of the Women’s Council of Realtors for Greater Los Angeles.
