With ten years of experience in the movie business and another thirteen in real estate, Jenna Cooper understands what makes Southern California tick: “Understand the story, follow the details, know the players and honor what’s unique about each one,” she says. That approach was effective during her time at CAA and carried her into the story department and feature film development at Propaganda Films. It works just as effectively at Compass, where she represents both industry talent and other clients selling and buying property in Hancock Park.
Born in Philadelphia, raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, Jenna has a keen eye for individual style and the unique qualities of regional architecture. With her husband, she has worked closely on restoring houses in Hancock Park, adding, “I strongly believe in respecting the architectural integrity of each property.”
Jenna also appreciates her clients’ demanding lives and makes efficient use of their time-and her own. “Nobody has time to waste,” she says. “My goal is to streamline the transaction so that every detail is handled with the least disruption to the client. A big part of that is listening-understanding from the beginning what the client wants and making sure that the results are always pointed toward that goal.” A strong advocate for her clients’ interests and a tough negotiator, Jenna has earned the respect of her professional colleagues and her many repeat and referral clients.
