Robyn's interest in real estate began early. She graduated from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology, and later took design and architecture classes at The New School in NYC. In 1980 she renovated her first apartment in NYC and has been renovating apartments and homes ever since; whether for herself, clients or speculation.
Before moving to California in 2000, Robyn had her own interior design firm, Robyn Ordon Interiors, and a 3,000 square foot showroom of fabrics, trims, furniture, antiques and one of a kind items. Greenwich Magazine nicknamed it "the mini D&D of Ct." (NYC's Decoration & Design building- the equivalent of the Pacific Design Center).
Robyn has had great success in flipping and staging homes in Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Laguna Beach, Connecticut and New York City. She has been seen on such shows as Selling LA and Interiors By Design.
The expertise she has developed in her real estate related relationships, whether it be buying, selling, renovating, staging or decorating, has enabled her to truly listen to and understand what each client needs from their home and what they must go through to buy or sell. In her words "nothing is more important than your clients and you must be there for them every step of the way". Robyn joined Compass in 2015 from Douglas Elliman.
