"Laura expertly navigated an unprecedented time to sell a house. Our house went on the market and had its first open house the weekend the Bay Area ordered its "shelter in place" for the pandemic: March 16, 2020. Like the rest of the world, we had no idea what to expect, how long it would last, or how it would affect the housing market. I can't imagine going through that stressful time with any agent other than Laura. She was on top of tracking every rule, every new disclosure we needed to sign, every allowable marketing opportunity. The result: We had a signed contract one month later, for just shy of the asking price, with no contingencies. We were so fortunate, also, that Laura had the house looking beautiful, in record time, so that we could stage it and photograph it before the "shelter in place." If we had been even one week later, we would have had to postpone the entire process until the shelter in place was lifted. The photos, the 360-degree tour virtual tour -- it all came together to make the sale possible. Thank you, Laura!." -Erin C.
"It was a pleasure working with Laura. She sold the house in 7 days with 6 offers all over the asking price. Laura is a rock star in my book! This was not a small job. I live out of state, and the house was in probate. Further, I decided to rehab it. Laura located contractors for me, secured bids, and always gave me options to choose from. She scheduled all the work, inspections, and staging. She also kept track of the invoices, which I paid from the estate. When it was time, she hosted open house events and generated a lot of interest in the property. It is no accident that it sold in only a few days, and I could not have asked for a better outcome. Throughout the experience, Laura was friendly, resourceful, and always professional. I heartily recommend working with her, and I certainly would work with her again without hesitation." -Tim T.
"Laura Peters is the definition of a “professional.” She helped me find a wonderful house in Pacifica and sell my old house in San Francisco, and was a true partner in both transactions. She is a walking encyclopedia of all things real estate from construction, remodeling, maintenance, finance, market conditions, etc. She arranged and supervised all the necessary inspections to prepare my house for sale, and even found contractors and handymen to make all necessary repairs to ensure that my house was in perfect condition for sale. She made it so easy for me by taking over all of the juggling and hard work needed to get the house ready--it was essentially handing her the keys and saying “Ok, go sell it.” Her hard work paid off too with over a dozen outstanding offers! But more than that, Laura is a genuinely nice person, good listener, and truly cares about her clients. But don’t be fooled by her soft spoken, easy going personality—Laura can be a tough as nails negotiator. We had to deal with some complicated transactions and difficult parties. Laura’s patience and professionalism truly made the difference and resulted in a wonderful moving experience. I have bought 5 homes in the Bay Area over the years, and I didn’t really know how much difference a great real estate agent can make until I met Laura. I wish I had met her 15 years ago, and recommending her now is the easiest thing anyone could ask." -Brandon C.
"If you want a smart agent who works hard for you, Laura is your woman. After five years of haphazard searching, I fell in love with a house the moment I walked in the door. As a first-time solo wanna-be home buyer, however, I had a zillion questions and not much preparation. Laura was extremely responsive, helpful, and kind. If she didn't have the answer to my queries (HOA balance sheets; inspection reports; earthquake insurance, etc.), she quickly accessed information from her extensive network. Laura was smart, strategic, and willing to spend hours discussing how to formulate the winning offer. Her advice was sound, and I got the house. A week later, a losing bidder's agent called to offer me $50K over what I paid." -Lisa P.
"We would say buying a house is really a comprehensive project, and we need a good team member to implement and complete this project. Luckily, we have Laura Peters as our team member. Laura has outstanding professional skills and standing-out temperament which might come from her years of work experiences at Apple and her consultant company. What impressed us most is that she put her heart into every detail of the project. Because of her prompt work, we successfully purchased a home for $100,000 lower than the listing price. She is committed, hardworking, and diligent throughout the whole process. When we lost the first bid on a house, we were frustrated. Laura said she will definitely find the house we would like. And she did it. Just the next morning, she got the key and showed us a water-front house with an appealing price. That afternoon, she completed all the documents and presented to the seller. Prior to that, she provided all the similar houses recently sold in the area as reference for our offer price, and she made every effort to go above and beyond to help us with our offer accepted. Because of her prompt work, we successfully got the offer negotiated and signed that night without any competition and $100,000 lower than the initial listing price. However, when the appraiser priced our home lower than our purchase price, she offered to fight for us. She provided competitive data to the mortgage broker and the appraiser, and she kept encouraging them time after time until appraiser adjusted the amount to the sale price. During the whole project, she's very responsive over the phone, text, or email. Moreover, she took some processes which we haven't seen our previous agents do before. Before offering and after closing, she examined every corner of the house by herself and provide us the record thereafter. Laura is both a good team member and family friend. She talked a lot with our family members, recommended the renovation contractor, and brought card, champagne and even wine glasses for us to celebrate the closing. We are very happy every moment we are with her." -Yiyi & Raphael
"Laura Peters is an outstanding agent. She represented me, and the entire process to sell my home was seamless. She went above and beyond making herself available to help with getting the house prepared to sell, including meeting with the various contractors. Since I live 2 ½ hours away from the home being sold, sometimes it was impossible for me to meet with certain contractors. However, Laura would meet with them. She always kept me informed and would always return my calls in a short period of time. I was quite impressed when we needed a tree cut down quickly on the property. Laura gave me estimates, she was the one that was there when the tree was cut down and let me know everything went smoothly, and emailed me the pictures. Because of her professionalism, my house had multiple offers within a week. I am forever thankful for her help. I will only go to Laura Peters in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone." -Debbie R.
"Laura was both an absolute pleasure to work with and an invaluable asset in our successful search for a home in the Bay Area. Right from the start she was attentive to our needs without being pushy and helped us decide on the right area and price range to pursue. From there she was always available whenever needed and quick to get us into any house that we wanted to see. Most importantly, when it came time to submit a bid, she was very thorough in making sure that we went in with a strong offer that was not overpaying. Once in the closing process, she was lightning-fast allowing us to close an entire week early. From start to finish, Laura was wonderful, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new home!" -Zach S.
