About Lauren
From a very young age Lauren Talve was exposed to the finest and most sought-after apartments, townhouses and corporate offices in New York City. Growing up as the granddaughter of Edward Fields, the legendary carpet-maker to Heads-of-State, celebrities and financiers, Lauren saw first-hand some of the most iconic homes in Manhattan. Her family has carpeted the Oval Office, the private residences of past U.S. Presidents, as well as countless other cultural institutions and homes. Watching her father create some of the most beautiful custom carpets for so many stunning homes fueled Lauren’s passion for design on all levels. After graduating college with a dual degree in Art History and the Fine Arts, she immediately joined the family business in Manhattan’s Fine Arts Building. Lauren immersed herself in every aspect of the business but specialized in collaborating with interior designers. This experience has served Lauren well in real estate, equipping her with unique creative skills to help her clients find the perfect home, optimize their space, and maximize their return on investment. Lauren’s keen eye for design and photography also ensures that the exclusive properties she represents are beautifully staged and marketed to achieve outstanding results. Lauren has 3 grown children with her husband Larry and resides on Central Park West.
