I was born and raised in Oregon, the Eugene/Springfield area. I came to Pittsburgh almost 20 years ago to attend Carnegie Mellon University. After earning my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Carnegie Mellon (and meeting my spouse there too), I couldn't imagine wanting to live any other place than Pittsburgh!
Pittsburgh is the home my husband and I picked to raise our children. We could not love it more! Raising children in Mister Roger's neighborhood could not be a more magical experience mixing a big city feel with a city of neighborhoods. It has been a mission of mine to explore the city with my family, learn about the schools, and get lots of tips from friends with children on things to do in Pittsburgh!
