"My house was on and off the market for about 4years. Prior to hiring Marina I interviewed three other potential agents. Marina was a good match as she grew up in Lake Forest and was well connected with multiple generations who lived in Lake Forest and Chicago. She had also been in the business for many years prior. She also "got it". I wanted to sell my house, but she understood how difficult it was for me to get make that decision and she understood why. Marina quickly put together a very accurate and beautiful video and brochure of my house. She marketed the house well in many different publications and websites. She is well versed in meshing technology and the real estate worlds. I would say that she worked as hard as she could given the market. She was sensitive to my wishes of showing the house only to those who were qualified buyers. She arrived early for showings turning on lights and whatever to make the house look its best. She was always enthusiastic and willing to stay as long as the prospectives wanted. Marina knew all of the details of the house, the property and its history and was able to answer any question. I knew that when I left for a showing that I had the best possible shot at a potential sale. Showing a house is only part of the job. The most important is making the sale. When that time came, Marina was very professional. She knew when to make a comment and when not. She has a very good sense of strategy and knows how to read people. All of the negotiations and closing went smoothly. As said, she is connected very closely to Lake Forest so she knows who to recommend for a seller's lawyer and also knows many of the buyer's lawyers. When there was a question regarding a platt, utilities, easements etc she either knew the answer or knew where to get it and quickly. Bottom line, I would describe Marina as a very professional, astute, capable, sensitive, knowledgeable agent. I would not hesitate to hire her again. In addition, she was always available and quick to return emails or phone calls."
