Marinela is a member of the Andy Bovender Team at Compass Carolinas, a founding team in Charlotte, NC and the exclusive Compass team in Charleston, SC.

Marinela brings over a decade of Interior Design experience to her Real Estate career, enriching her clients' journeys with her visionary approach. She doesn't just help find their future house, she imagines their home, presenting its potential through renovation or simple design changes, and whether it resonates with their aesthetic and daily life.

Guiding clients toward their real estate goals, Marinela assumes the role of visualizing the property they desire. She achieves this by attentively listening and understanding their priorities, and by utilizing her design expertise to convey possibilities that may surpass their expectations. Marinela has staged many homes and multi-family properties and can be of value when listing a property to be able to consult accordingly.

A California native raised in the Pacific Northwest, Marinela embarked on a journey from Seattle to Charleston, driving cross-country with her husband to embrace a new chapter. They now reside on Johns Island with their son, Lucca, and their French bulldog, Biggie Smalls.

When she's not working with clients, Marinela's love for food parallels her passion for real estate and design. When not planning her next food adventure, she's cooking at home, planning her next trip, or hanging with her family.
