About Melanie
A proud 5th generation Texan, Melanie is originally from the quaint city of Boerne, situated in the breathtaking Texas Hill Country. She moved to Austin in 1993, calling Austin's 78704 zip code home for most of the last 20+ years. While working at the original Whole Foods before it was a national chain, Melanie fell in love with the Bouldin Creek neighborhood and quickly knew it was where she wanted to live.
When Melanie obtained her license in 2007, she found her passion. She has never looked back or thought of doing anything else, and she feels truly honored to be helping her clients with one of the biggest investments of their lives. Melanie brings her years of expertise to every transaction and prides herself on being able to help guide her clients through the process every step of the way. She is a big believer in being a team player, as well as having a strong team beside her to give her clients the best service possible. Melanie has worked with every clientele over the years. She has helped countless first time home buyers navigate the process and win multiple offers. She has worked with investors to find equitable properties, builders to obtain land for development, successfully marketed luxury properties, helped clients buy and sell downtown condos, and worked in the surrounding areas on farm and acreage purchases. In her spare time, Melanie loves traveling with her family to different countries and exploring different cultures. She has a grown son who lives in Paris, France, and attends college at the American University of Paris. In Austin, Melanie loves dinners with friends, walks around the lake, learning French with her husband (or trying to!), working out at her home away from home, Castle Hill Fitness, and playing with her rescue Bulldog, Winston and their new Frenchie puppy, Baxter. One of her biggest successes is all of the friends she has made through working with clients.
