As a child, Mikaela Agnolin would sit in the backseat of her parents’ car, gazing at the mansions that checkered the palm tree-lined streets of Palm Beach, Florida. Unbeknownst to her, one day Mikaela would be selling luxury homes across the country. As one of the latest additions to Compass, Mikaela brings a new and much needed energy to luxury real estate.
Graduating from Florida Atlantic University with a Marketing Degree, Mikaela moved to Los Angeles after graduation, working with top real estate broker Bjorn Farrugia. Her focus was luxury rentals and sales along top dollar neighborhoods like Beverly Hills, Hollywood Hills, and Santa Monica. A career in real estate came naturally to Mikaela. “I’ve always been a leader and very sociable,” she says. “I loved the idea of working in an environment where I wasn’t tethered to a desk and could network with people, research homes, and take in their diverse architecture.” Known for her personable approach to real estate, Mikaela took a leap into the big city of New York last year, as she was offered an opportunity to join renowned real estate entrepreneur Philip Scheinfeld’s team at Compass. Within a month, she secured her first multi-million dollar listing.
Her secret to success comes from her personality. “To survive in real estate, you have to be confident, persistent, personable, likeable, and above all, trustworthy,” Mikaela explains. “While I’m still learning, I’m also not afraid to ask questions in order to provide my clients with the best experience possible.”
