About Mimi
Born in beautiful Santa Monica and raised in Santa Monica and Brentwood, Mimi Stevens Torp is that rare breed of second generation, native Southern Californian. Having attended local schools, Mimi has experienced the Westside's incredible growth first hand. This has afforded her invaluable insights and an unparalleled comprehensive overview of Westside properties.

Upon graduation from college, Mimi worked in accounting at the J. Paul Getty Museum and later was business manager for an interior design magazine in Los Angeles. Mimi began her real estate career with the Jon Douglas Company in 1987. Her special expertise is in the sale and marketing of single-family homes and condos from West Hollywood to Malibu. In consideration of her consistently excellent sales production, Mimi has won numerous real estate awards and accolades.

Having sold homes for over 35 years, Mimi is renowned for her personalized service, compassionate professionalism and thoughtful attention to detail. Not surprisingly, Mimi's past clients have been so impressed and pleased with her poised proficiency that the majority of her business is a direct result of referrals and industry word-of-mouth.

Mimi has been active with charities including Friends of Animals, Westside Food Bank, The American Cancer Society and the Center For Healthy Aging. Mimi co-created "Environ Medals," a hugely successful and highly acclaimed program that rewards kids for performing Eco-Friendly Tasks. Mimi and her husband/partner, Jon, were honored by The LOS ANGELES BUSINESS JOURNAL with their prestigious Green Agent Award. She currently resides in Mar Vista with husband, Jon, and their rescue Beagle-mix pup Benji.
