Cody was enamored with New York City’s upbeat pace after visiting at 17 years old. Only months later, Cody left her hometown in Oakland, California and made her way to New York City. While attending Fordham University, she majored in Communications with a concentration in Journalism and played Division I basketball.
Interning and then eventually working at CNN, Cody learned how to thrive in a fast-paced technology driven work environment. She decided to leave CNN and pursue a career in real estate. Her passion in real estate stemmed from a young age. She watched her mother succeed in the California real estate market, while also establishing many life-long friendships. Her enthusiasm for real estate was solidified after seeing her grandparents own multiple investment properties in Lake Tahoe.
Compass uses a technology-driven platform, which makes it a perfect fit for Cody. She is forward thinking, attentive, and self-motivated. Outside of the office, Cody enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with family.
