Prior to joining Compass, Daren enjoyed a fast rise to success in real estate as a Top Agent, his first year in the business at Citi Habitats. After working at another prominent firm he returned to assume the role of Managing Director of Citi’s Union Square location, where he applied his seasoned skill set and inspirational drive to help his office and agents excel. “The most gratifying part of my work is helping new agents get out of the gate strong and help experienced agents who want to take their businesses to a higher level. Daren’s fascination with and love of Manhattan is what led him to pursue the fast-paced world of real estate. Drawing on his business savvy and entrepreneurial spirit, he opened up the first New York City branch of a Florida-based real estate firm before joining Citi Habitats. His strong command of the market, expertise in handling rentals and sales, and keen ability to manage and multi-task make Daren an exemplary leader and asset to the entire company and his immediate team. Originally from Long Island, Daren has lived on Manhattan’s Upper East Side for many years. After graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in Leadership and Consumer Economics, he served as Director of Sales for a prestigious New York City printing / prepress company. Daren then transitioned to a high-profile role managing top sales accounts like Macy’s, Zales and JCPenney for a diamond jewelry wholesale manufacturer.
