About Lib

Elizabeth “Lib” Hyatt Goss has built a reputation in the real estate industry based on honesty, discretion and trust. She is known for her perseverance and unwavering work ethic and has a warm and enthusiastic personality with a steadfast commitment to her clients’ goals. Lib has forged enduring relationships with her clientele who describe her as patient, professional, dedicated and resourceful. With a background in law and commercial real estate, Lib’s attention to detail, and well-honed communication and negotiation skills make her an invaluable asset to buyers and sellers alike. In addition, Lib has earned the respect of colleagues at her firm, and given her expertise, is frequently invited to partner on complex transactions. Lib has brokered deals throughout the City including some of the most competitive submarkets of Fifth Avenue, Park Avenue, Downtown, the Upper East and West sides, and Brooklyn.

With over a decade of experience Lib brings the same dedication to a deal whether the transaction involves a 500 square foot studio or a 5000 square foot multi-million-dollar residence. On the sell side, she has deep knowledge of current market trends and offers expert advice on pricing, strategies for positioning a property in its best light and negotiation tactics to achieve an optimal price. When working with buyers, Lib leaves no stone unturned in her search for the perfect home, advising and advocating for her clients every step of the way to secure the property, navigate the coop or condo process and facilitate a smooth closing.

Originally from Virginia and South Carolina, Lib and her husband, Tom, a financial advisor, lived as expatriates in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong before settling in NYC 25 years ago to raise their two children, DeWitt and Ridgely. They currently reside on the Upper East Side with their havanese, Zoe.
