Spencer's professional approach focuses on providing his clients full service long after the transaction closes and in complete management throughout the moving process. In a market where inventory is as tight as it is in the city today, Spencer prides himself on standing out via industry relationships, personal connections, and past clients.
Spencer holds the building record for both price per square foot and dollar amount at 254 Park Avenue South. He has helped clients to secure first residency in new development projects, including several other three bedroom homes in the burgeoning NoMad neighborhood. Spencer has worked with first time buyers on many occasions to beat out the competition and win multiple bidding situations in the entry level sector of the market. He has represented dozens of properties both for sale and for rent.
Prior to coming to Compass, he practiced sales and rentals at another downtown brokerage, while also working for a luxury design + build firm specializing in high end residential renovation. Spencer's background in construction helps give him keen insight on properties with unrealized potential. He sees these properties, especially those in emerging neighborhoods, as opportunities for value oriented purchasers looking to customize a space to their specific taste.
After many years spent residing in a quintessential West Village home, Spencer recently moved to a luxury condominium TriBeCa. He holds a BA in History from the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating, Spencer worked as a member of the Washington Redskins premium sales team. Originally from Chevy Chase, MD, he also spent time growing up in Rye, NY; considering himself both a Washingtonian and a New Yorker. Spencer looks forward to continuing to provide harmonious pairings for his clients to the homes they love.
