Susan’s wide-ranging business background includes extensive experience in strategic consulting and management. She has held high-level positions as a Global Partner in the Retail Practice at Deloitte Consulting and was a Vice President of Operations at Accretive Health. In addition, she has been the CEO of 180s, a specialty outdoor apparel brand, and was an Associate Partner at Accenture. The insightful listening skills Susan developed in the consulting industry allow her to work closely with each client and grasp exactly what they are looking for in a property, while she is also adept at understanding and explaining the specific financial issues present in any transaction. Having successfully bought and sold multiple properties herself, Susan has a unique understanding of how to market properties and achieve maximum value. Having also worked as a decorator on commercial and residential projects, she put this knowledge to use in her own real estate dealings, utilizing her design knowhow to present her properties in a way that always secured the highest possible sales price.
A native of Dallas, Texas who has lived in San Francisco, Marin County, Chicago and Baltimore, Susan loves New York City like nowhere else. She has lived in the Flatiron district since 1998 and is particularly knowledgeable of the Flatiron, Chelsea and NoMad neighborhoods. An avid contemporary art collector, Susan is a member of the Contemporary Art Council of the Museum of Modern Art, has served on the Board of The New York Foundation of the Arts, and attends contemporary art fairs all over the world. She holds a BA in Philosophy from Tulane University and an MBA from Golden Gate University, and continues to pursue her passion for art by taking courses at MOMA, the Whitney, and Sotheby’s. A theatre and movie aficionado who attends many film festivals and plays both on and off Broadway, Susan is a supporter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Fountain House, Golden Gate University, Tulane University, Housing Works, and Wounded Warrior Project.
