    About Terry

    Terry Stanley has a wide range of experience in real estate development, acquisitions, project management and master planning.

    As former Director of Development at The World Wide Group, Mr. Stanley was responsible for over $1 billion in complex urban development projects, ranging the renovating a former nurse’s residence into New York City’s first green public school to spearheading an RFP response that resulted in award of a 750,000 SF project in Midtown Manhattan. Mr. Stanley secured the anchor tenancy of Whole Foods Market in that Project, and led negotiations with the City and the local community. He was also instrumental in assembling six contiguous properties at 143-161 East 60th Street. This assemblage was recently sound to Kuafu Properties for $300 million.

    Previously, Mr. Stanley was a Partner at Washington Square Partners where he specialized in providing real estate advisory services to not-for-profit organizations including the Mark Morris Dance group, The Forward Association, the 42nd Street Development Corp and many others. Earlier, Mr. Stanley served as Director of Development for Forest City Ratner Companies in New York City, where he helped re-merchandise a troubled urban shopping mall and also managed a $100 million renovation project for the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Both of these projects are located in downtown Brooklyn.

    Prior to joining Forest City, Mr. Stanley worked for the New York City Public Development Corporation on development and restoration projects including the South Street Seaport project in lower Manhattan and subsequently, the highly successful $1 billion MetroTech development in downtown Brooklyn.

    Mr. Stanley received his BA from the University of Chicago and his MBA and MS in Urban Planning from Columbia University.
