Patty Couto knows what it’s like to arrive in a new city and need a place to live. As the child of business executives, she moved between Singapore, Mexico, Brazil, Texas, and Northern Virginia. All before attending The College of William & Mary.
That well-traveled upbringing gives her a keen ability to empathize with both buyers and sellers who are transitioning from one place to another—and to advise them on what they should be thinking about as they prepare for the move. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, she’s comfortable working with clients who come from various backgrounds.
Patty joined Compass in 2018 after three successful years on a top-producing team in Northern Virginia. Prior to real estate, she worked in the finance department of Revolution, a DC-based venture-capital firm in downtown Washington. You can catch Patty walking around Arlington with her sweet pup Lucy.
