With his passion for real estate Michael joined DSA Realty in summer 2015 and later joined EXR Group in February 2016. He has served various management roles at EXR. He served as the Director of New Development and Director of Resource Development. Derard managed the new development pipeline and sales processes with an unparalleled proficiency and expertise. Through engineering and executing his recruitment and retention strategy Michael provided leadership, recruited, hired, and provided training for over 75 agents and oversaw 400+ transactions including over 12 New Development projects. In July 2017, Michael joined Compass with his team, Realo, a group of talented young entrepreneurs with the appetite to navigate and match their clients to their perfect home.
