Richard Brescia

With over two decades of experience, I, Rik Brescia, have dedicated my career to educating real estate professionals. Born into a real estate family and equipped with a construction background, I founded New Vision Properties in 2001. After seven fruitful years, New Vision Properties merged with Prudential Serls Prime Properties, eventually becoming Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hudson Valley Properties.

For a decade, I served as the manager of the Fishkill, NY office, consistently leading it to rank as the number 1 office in Mid Hudson MLS. Our success prompted the opening of a Beacon NY location to further expand our footprint. In 2019, I assumed leadership of the newly acquired Ulster County division and accepted a promotion to Regional Vice President.

My approach integrates extensive industry knowledge with a passion for technology, always emphasizing that "tech" should complement rather than replace personal relationships. At every step, I've cultivated a work environment for my agents where technology and sales expertise collaborate seamlessly, paving the way for a more accessible and successful career path. In addition to local and state-level teaching, I've had the privilege of being a Featured Speaker at prestigious Berkshire Hathaway National conventios in Nashville, Vegas, Phoenix, and San Antonio.

In late 2023, I have opted to take on the role of Associate Broker with Team Banx at Compass in Wappingers Falls.  

This allows me to go back to my initial passion of serving the community and helping people trade properties.
