About Richard
Richard joins Lila Delman after having served as a US military officer for over 24 years. He has
been a paratrooper, artillery commander, logistician, recruiting manager, Ranger, and is a
combat veteran. During his career, Richard’s passion for education allowed him to pursue and
earn an MBA from the University of Rhode Island and a Master’s in Strategic Studies from the
US Army War College. In his civilian career, he was a leading sales representative for an
international transportation company, providing import and export services to companies such
as Reebok and GE.
Originally from New York, his military career provided opportunities to travel and work all over the world and throughout the United States, giving him a unique and deep appreciation for the great state of Rhode Island. He and his wife settled in Rhode Island to raise their boys and are now ecstatic about helping raise and educate their granddaughter in the Ocean State. On the side, he enjoys his Excelsior Henderson motorcycle, travel, history, and scuba diving.
Richard has experience as a rental property manager and now joins his wife Linda, who’s career in real estate spans over 16 years.
