With over two decades of luxury real estate marketing experience, Rick Distel is recognized for consistently delivering concierge-level service to his clients. After twenty years focused solely in the Manhattan and Connecticut marketplaces, Rick expanded his reach to Palm Springs California in 2013, becoming a bi-coastal agent in order to better service the needs of his clientele. In October 2018 he joined Compass as a Founding Agent in Connecticut and as a Principal in the Palm Springs market. With a background firmly rooted in luxury real estate sales and finance, he is uniquely suited to bring sellers and buyers together by capitalizing on his expertise in marketing and negotiation. Additionally, Rick has served as a marketing agent and buyer consultant on homes designed by the most highly regarded architects of the mid-century modern era, including Marcel Breuer, Richard Neutra, John Johansen and Edward Larrabee Barnes.

Rick’s success in real estate is rooted in his unwavering commitment to client service. His guiding principle is that luxury is not a price point, rather it is a level of service.
